Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Helpdesk/Support Technician for a project in La Spezia, Italy.

Role:

• Set-up and maintenance of ad-hoc network and systems to support seasonal activities.
• Perform day to day maintenance of computer/network systems.
• Collaborate with tech specialist to develop and implement IT support strategy.
• Obtain feedback customer to participate in the adjustment and service improvements.
• Monitor equipment and application use to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical assistance to clients by installing, configuring, testing, and upgrading computer software
and hardware.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on computers systems to ensure efficient operations.

Skills:

• At least 5 years of proven experience Network/Systems administration, helpdesk support, or similar.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems.
• Be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Be familiar with network troubleshooting.
• Setup and configure network and servers medium environments.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Windows environments 2008/2012.
• Working experience with Linux operating systems (Red Hat / CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Working experience with administration of Win server roles: Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
• Excellent organisational skills. Good attention to details and ability to show initiative.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
• Proficiency in English
• Good communications skills, cool tempered and customer-oriented
